Star Trek

Would anybody be interested in going to see the new Star Trek movie in a couple of weeks? Not necessarily on the premiere date - I was thinking maybe friday the 22nd at Cinemaxx? Maybe take advantage of Fisketorvet's Street Food Friday, depending on the weather?

ETA: Or saturday the 23rd - sadly with no street food, unless we swing by Papirøen - but: with bonus ximeria! Maybe! If she wants to.

Rec me a Danish book?

Hey, Danish people! I just realized that I read books by Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish authors last year, but no Danish ones. And in general I cannot recall the last time I read a Danish author. So if you were to rec me a Danish (fiction) author, which one would it be? Ideally it would be something that's translated into Swedish. Could be SF/F, or something else you think I would enjoy. My sister's boyfriend has recced me Svend Åge Madsen, is that someone you would recommend?

October meetup - follow up

*drags self out of the hell mouth of term start*

Looks like most people are available in the weekend of 24th/25th of October, so if we set that weekend, those who can make it can make it and those who can't will get a chance next time ;) - No word from Kabal, but I think he might be off gallivanting around the British Isle for the annual Halloween meetup (if I recall his habits right ;) )

While hockey people gather...

I should mention that my door's of course open to those who'd like to go to Odense on the weekend of 14th, but who have not found the spirits of the Hockey Gods. Just let me know if you want to stay over. Have room for at least 3 or 4 ppl sleeping (Oneiriad twisted my arm, I swear ;) )

Last pre-season training matches were free, I don't know if that will be the case again.

Please let me know which date or dates could work for you. I imagine matches will last for approximately two hours.

Avengers (again)

So yes I would like to propose a viewing in Cph the weekend of April 24th. It could be imax or 2d on a 32" screen, I honestly don't care. The bff will dogsit and he asks if we can do the movie thing on Sunday, but it would have to be an early showing for me b/c work. I can't make the imax site divulge any times though? Just dates. Pls halp and also y/n?

Ps: sooper sekrit message for skuf: the bff wants to do a thing, and i was wondering if you would Fluffy!sit, maybe on Saturday, if movie will be on Sunday?

Göteborg meetup, date settled!

Okay! I could conceivably wait for more people to fill in the Doodle, but it's been a couple of days, so I'm picking the date that works for most people: 15-17th of May. It works for Linden, Kabal, Oneiriad, and Skuf, but sadly maybe not for Calvina.

Yay! I am so looking forward to hosting you all. : ) There are good trains from Copenhagen (that's what I take when I come down to visit you guys), or you can take the ferry like Linden did when she visited me earlier this winter. Or if you want cheap, you can take the bus.

Alright, time to check in.

You are welcome from 2 o'clock ish on Friday until whenever Sunday.

There are lots of store options close by, but not a lot to choose from in terms of take-away (pizza and "Chinese" is about it).

I have for borrowing:
- ~~Fold-out mattress~~ (oneiriad)
- ~~Vinter-dyne~~ (skuf)
- Tyk dyne - idk it's maybe not a naturfyld
- Vattæppe
- Half a bed - barring you're not afraid of my germs, sry :S
- Some bedding
- Remember, Xim has inflatable mattresses for borrowing - not sure how many

Puppy guidelines
- The puppy jumps up, can be bite-y, and if you have long hair he will grab it and yank. Pull away and stand up to tell him no. He is quite thick, so be prepared to move away a billion times.
- Feel free to kiss/accept kisses from the puppy, but do remember he licks his own butt...
- The puppy barks to say "YAY!" or "OMG entertain me already". Please do not bark back ;)
- Please do not feed the puppy human food, and please do not offer him snacks while you are by the table.
- I try not to use the word "No" but to distract him if he's doing something not-good (lolol, come and watch me fail).
- The puppy will have to get up in the middle of the night to go pee-pee - we apologize.
- The puppy needs to pee 1) After playing, 2) After waking up, 3) Anytime he is nosing around the area by the stairs - I would appreciate you helping me keep an eye on him.

D. 21. maj kl. 18.45 i Nordisk Films biografer (18.30 i Imperial) (kun som 3D :-( ).

Nogen der vil med? Eller har jeg fejlbedømt folk totalt?

ETA: Det er muligt jeg lige gik ind og reserverede 6 billetter til forestillingen i Imperial. Det er muligt... (Det ender sikkert med, at jeg kun behøver den ene, men hva' - nu gør jeg i hvert fald forsøget - skal være hentet senest d. 14)

ETA2: 2 af de 6 reserverede billet er stadig frie, hvis nogen vil med - jeg skal bare vide det inden den 14.

Meet-up in Göteborg?

Hey, I'm sorry I'll miss this weekend's meetup! We've talked about me hosting a meet-up in Göteborg, and the only weekend I'd be able to do that before the summer is 23-25 of May (after that I probably couldn't do it until August-September). Would anyone be interested in coming that weekend? I know it's pretty soon after this weekend's meet-up, and everyone always has a lot to do in May, anyway. So no problem if you can't. But I thought I'd check. : )

Get-together schedule (Odense)

Looks like the weekends line up with the same number of participants (stares at Linden - what was that all about?)

However, I can tell now that term start's gonna be a bitch - literally (don't ask - I might need an alibi at some point though...).

I'll cut through and say first weekend of March - so people can get around to making plans.

By the way - anyone's welcome to crash during easter if they want a bit of time in Odense - I'm home anyway ;)

So unless I get arrested for maiming a professor or two for being late with their term-lit-lists first week of March it is.

I'll be home from around 4 on the Friday, so you're all more than welcome to come whenever you feel like it from there.

Odense invitation

Hey,

fik endelig trukket mig op ved håret (ikke at nytårsaften var hård, men slås stadig med en forkølelse der ærligt talt er ved at være lidt irriterende LOL)

Jeg har talt on/off med folk omkring et komsammen i Odense her i starten af det nye år.

It's that time again where I open the flat for a fannish get-together as I've been talking to people about for a while now (hey, I'm getting older - don't expect me to be all that fast;) )

As always, everyone's welcome - I'll hopefully have rearranged the last stuff in the bedroom this time so there should be well enough room for everyone. We'll figure out sleeping arrangements later.
